As a player you may stop any unwanted contact from a club representative by simply asking (either verbally or in writing) that all contact cease. Any player believing a club representative of any Florida Region volleyball club has been intimidating, harassing, or acted inappropriately in any manner of contact or recruiting should contact the Florida Region office at membership@floridavolleyball.org
about this COLLABORATION
Top Select Volleyball Academy partnered with Step Up For Students to make elite volleyball training more accessible. By becoming an approved direct provider, we allow eligible families to use state scholarship funds directly toward their seasonal club dues, private lessons, and development camps. This initiative reduces out-of-pocket expenses for our athletes and ensures financial constraints do not limit player development.
INTRO to Step Up
Step Up For Students is a state-approved non-profit scholarship funding organization that administers educational scholarships for Florida families. These scholarships empower parents to customize their child's education, extracurricular activities, and athletic development.
The Mission: Step Up For Students provides education scholarship funds to eligible Florida families.
How It Works: Scholarship funds are distributed to approved accounts and can be used for a variety of approved educational services and activities.
Sports & Extracurriculars: Depending on the specific scholarship program, funds can include coverage for eligible sports lessons, training, and team fees.
Approved Programs: Funding is available through specific pathways, including the Personalized Education Program (PEP), Family Empowerment Scholarship for Students with Unique Abilities (FES-UA), Family Empowerment Scholarship for Educational Options (FES-EO), and the Florida Tax Credit Scholarship (FTC).

Deadlines & Payment Policies
Application Deadline: Families who have not yet submitted a Step Up application for the current academic school year must do so by November 15.
Quarterly Disbursements: Step Up releases scholarship funding to student EMA accounts on a quarterly basis.
Account Billing: Families must remain on their standard Top Select payment plan until the scholarship disbursements clear and are officially credited to the athlete's ledger.
Support: For eligibility questions, families should contact Step Up directly. For ledger questions, they can contact the Top Select administrative office.
