Setters Academy

Setters Academy

“The setter is one of the most critical positions  in volleyball”,  with that in mind Top Select Volleyball Academy has developed The Setters Academy. A 4-week program designed to teach and refine setter's specific skills and offer the tools needed to succeed as a setter.

The setter is much like the quarterback in football or a point guard in basketball. They are in charge of running the team’s offense. A setter decides who should get the ball and when.  They need to be able to make quick decisions on the court. It doesn't matter how good a team's hitters are if a setter can not consistently deliver a good ball to their hitters. The setter is a critical position in volleyball.
