Nikisha began playing volleyball at age 15. She played 3 years at Desoto County High School and then attended Warner University where he played for the women’s volleyball team for 4 years. While at Warner Nikisha made the Florida Sun Conference, All conference team and Region XIV, All Region team both her Junior and Senior year. In 2007 Nikisha was awarded an American Volleyball Coaches Association All Region Award for hitting percentage where she ranked number 21 in the county for NAIA division II.
